I've got a confession to make.

    I like the color orange.

I've got another confession to make.

    I like vintage Tupperware.

Throw the two together and I'm in 70's heaven.

OK, there I've said it. I feel so much better.

I found the larger orange Tupperware Servalier bowl at a yard sale for a quarter last weekend. The other bowls are from my personal stash.

Oh, I have more. I just didn't feel like doing the dishes for you. I use these All. The. Time.

Oh My Goodness! This just anchored me back to my bridal shower! I received one of everything in the catalog or so it seemed. The women in my small community gave be a Tupoerware Bridal Shower! It was so much fiun! That was in 1979 and after so many moves..I still have a few pieces but for the most part, they are gone. From potluck lunches with friends promising to return it once the party ended to just losing them to tupperware heaven! I loved tupperware! And if truth be known...I still do!

I still find pieces at estate sales around here and I'll grab them if they're in good shape! They were made to last back then!

OH MY GOODNESS.. does that bring back memories. I got those exact colors when I was a bride in Sept 1977 - in fact, my first apartment, 2nd apartment, rental house, (I was military wife) and base houses were all... those colors in kitchen! I never had to worry about not matching! And now I am in rental townhouse and almost died when I walked in for first look... and they had avocado appliances (except brand new fridge), golden formica counter and 'printed tile' in avocado, gold, red and black on floor... talk about being retro!!! (actually they were built in 1970s and I selected one that still had all original appliances! What a hoot! GADawn

Oh, I do love tupperware! I actually had a party when I was still in high school. Where all those pieces went, I have no idea.

Would you believe that my mom still has this very set. I had some lime green canisters from about this time period too.

Although I have many pieces of Tupperware, including the ones shown, my favorite is a set my mother bought when Tupperware first started having parties in the '50s. It's a set of pastel cups molded with the handles as part of the bowl of the cup. They're awesome!
