I definitely need to go shopping!! Funny thing is that I was just mentioning to the Hubs that we need a good old fashioned thermos to take out to the beach. I love that Skotch cooler and I DO think it's going to look great with a Xmas tree inside. You've got the best ideas Pam.

In reply to nelda. Fire King ALWAYS marked their stuff with the Fire King name, my mom and me both collect Fire King. As a wedding present my Aunts got me a 5 piece place setting for 10 people in the Fire King Peach Luster design along with mixing bowls, casserole dishes, etc.

I'm the same way, gotta get out there on a regular basis and get my thrift on! I actually picked up that exact Skotch cooler about 2 years ago in Goodwill for a couple bucks (Although mine did not have a thermos in it!) I used it as a base for a white feather Christmas tree. They really are the best around Christmastime!

When you find a picnic basket that is 99 cents, you have to buy it. If you don't, the picnic basket gods will strike down on you and not allow you to ever find another picnic basket again. I read it in the Thrifting Rules book.
