In reply to Tammy Hart. And THAT is why I love summer. My husband loves to grill out, so I just buy a buy of hamburger, chicken and a few steaks and he's more than happy to cook them :) I have been eyeing a smoker for Father's Day though!

Well that looks yummy! I'll have to try this for the family Memorial Day potluck with my hubby's family. He decided to take a smoked brisket this year so that leaves me in charge of a salad or dessert....I think this covers BOTH. Brilliant! Can I take a moment to add, encouraging the hubby to take the plunge and spend the money on a smoker/grill/cooker thingy, BEST IDEA EVER! He takes that job seriously and doesn't require any help with the cooking. He prefers me to steer clear while he works his magic. So, I'll create this wonderful berry salad you have graciously share today and read my Kindle, while he slaves away on the brisket. Thanks for sharing!
