Patriotic porch decor for the 4th of July or Memorial Day. Lots of inspiration for your outdoor summer decorating.
Who's ready for the Fourth of July?
Me, that's who!!!
The 4th is one of my favorite holidays, right behind Christmas and Halloween.
Picnics . . . parades . . . fireworks . . . Uncle Sam. I just can't get enough of the red, white and blue!
So it's no wonder that I have my porch all decked out for the 4th already.
My vintage Redmon picnic basket sits by one of the rockers in case I get hungry in the next two weeks waiting for the actual holiday to arrive.
I packed it with tuna sandwiches and potato salad. Hope that's OK.
I recycled my pillows that I made a few years ago by flipping them to the back side and stapling jute webbing around them. Yes, I said stapling.
Stitch Witchery and straight pins were how they were put together in the first place (and they have held up amazingly well) and now staples. Don't be surprised if I bring out the duct tape next.
What's a Fourth of July porch without a profusion of flags
and sparklers.
Did you know you can make a star out of a folding ruler? Well, yes you can. And I did!
You can see more of my pink porch urn plantings and my vintage stoneware porch planters.
Are you all set for the Fourth? Or do you skip decorating for this one?

Your front porch is so inviting Pam. I love rocking chairs and could sit in one all day. I saw a patriotic Christtmas tree at the Christmas shop while at the Outer Banks. I am thinking one on our porch would be special.

Don't have the decorations out yet, but soon!
Your porch looks very festive!!!

I love the Red White and Blue as well. I have yet to find a porch that doesn't show it off well and yours is no exception. Old Glory looks glorious!

Hi Pam - I love your patriotic front porch! It's a porch after my own heart (snacks included!) The ruler star wreath is very creative - ever think about giving it a splash of navy spray paint and adding some stars or stripes to it? Hugs, Holly

Aren't you having fun! Your porch looks grand. I wouldn't expect any less from you. Love the ruler star. Very cool. I've got the fireplace mantle all decked out in red, white and blue. A few patriotic crafts to be revealed on Thursday.

I adore the summer patriotic holidays too. Lots of red, white, and blue, Uncle Sam, Lady Liberty, and flags here. So enjoyed popping back to the posts about your porch through the seasons and years. Happy 4th!

That duct tape comes in every color these days. Probably bunting, too. Your porch is as pretty as always.

I will be putting out some decorations on the potting bench but that's all. I love the star and your red vintage pieces. That fern is really nice too.

Your porch looks so festive and patriotic! I bet your neighbors wait to see what fun things you're displaying on your porch for each season.
BTW, when you're feeling like royalty, the ruler can be turned into a crown, Lady Pam.
