Oh I've used chalk paint many times, either Annie Sloan or my own recipe, but I'm looking for a less expensive option. I'm paying attention now to the other brands, so I'm surprised yours went so far! I'm impressed with yours! I might give it a try!

It's an 8 oz bottle and I only used about 1/10th of it. I didn't dilute it either. Chalk paint does tend to go further/farther (too early to look up correct word to use 🙂 ), but yeah it's not one of those little craft paint bottles. If you haven't used chalk paint before it's sort of fun. It's almost sandy and then you can distress it really easily.

I have never seen one in our Goodwill. I too bought some Plaid chalk paint with a 50% off coupon. I haven't used it yet, but I have some thrifted frames waiting to be painted. I want to buy some clear and dark wax also. Do you or any reader recommend an inexpensive brand? I do not want to pay $30 for each one. Hope you got your yummy cupcake! I live in Tennesseee where orange is always appropriate!! Go Big Orange!!

But as a planter, yes it is fantastic. I love it and I love the paint color you chose.
