I tried just about everything!!! But ended up soaking some cotton balls in nail polish remover and laying them over the label for about ten minutes. Then using a razor blade scraper to scrape it off.

It did not come off easily and I might have been too aggressive in using the scraper because there are some scratches in the glass. But I just turn that part to the back of the gumball machine so you don't really notice.

Also, those gumballs are the icing on the cake!.You have such talent for seeing potential in an item & transforming it into a 'work of art!' What I'm wondering is. . .what do you do with all the wonderful things you've 'refreshed'? Do you give them away at some point, or have a HUGE building to store them in? Ha! My decor seems to be overflowing, which makes me think I need to clean out some things. But some things are just too cute to part with. What's your secret on how to deal with this? Keep those ideas coming!. We love seeing your talent at work!

I search high and low for them but haven't snagged on in several years. I've never thought to paint them however.... yours turned out soooo perdy!
Mine have all turned into winter "snowglobes".
