I normally pick them up at the local garden center. Other types of stores have them around Christmas-time (Lowes, Home Depot) because a lot of people use them for holiday planters, but you can find them almost anytime at the garden stores.

I did drill small holes. Just three I think and they were just whatever drill bit I had in the drill already. The hanging basket fillers is a good idea! I normally add a few of those flimsy plastic pots the flowers come in from the store just to take up some space in the bottom so the pot isn't as heavy to move around.

Did you drill holes in the bottom for drainage? Mine filled up with water last summer and buckled in the heat. Thinking about buying again but adding the hanging basket fillers at the bottom after I drill holes.

I have a dead cabbage plant on my back deck, so I'm right there with you!

I thought the forsythias were real. Love your little bunny & the pansies too. My porch was bare, and still is. Oh no it isn't. I still have a dead Chrysanthemum to remove, LOL. That's for another day when I'm in a clearing out mood.
