I can relate to your love for this dainty ladies. I fell in love with Peonies when I was 5 years old. My grandmother had five peonies shrubs in her backyard. I have always wanted them but never had the opportunity to grow any. I hope to have some next year.

Bring on the peonies! We're a few weeks out, but I love them so. We transplanted several of them from my late grandparents house to our own. Enjoy your Memorial weekend.

I only have one peony bush, and it always rains the week it blooms so the blossoms hang near the ground! Yours are beautiful. I am planting this weekend and so happy to be outside.

I have got to plant me some peonies! I had them in our previous yard, and after seeing your gorgeous photos, I'm going to buy some this weekend and get them planted! I don't think they bloom for the first couple years, so about 3 years from now I'll take some photos of mine. :)
