They are not selling the trailers themselves, just allowing people to list them for sale on their site, so keep in mind the prices are what the sellers think they're worth rather than what they might actually end up selling for in the end. But it's a good place to get an idea of pricing.

I'm just starting out in the camper game. I would love a vintage camper, but I'm not sure that hubby would be on board. How can I find some vintage campers for sale so I can comparison shop? The price of the brand new one compared to the vintage plus the labor and supplies to get it road wworthy. Like I said we are real new yes at this and can use any advise, help, directions you give us.

Our oldest daughter is selling their vintage camper, and I wish I had room for it in our yard. I'd fix it up and use it as a playhouse for our grands......and me. Oh, well, we can keep dreaming, right Pam? Great inspiration photos!

just got home from glamping...lol...we have a new trailer...but while we were at our campground a vintage Shasta came in...cutie!!!! and if you want to stay in one...a vintage trailer that is...head to Bisbee, AZ....they have a whole "motel" with nothing but oldies restored....

I too am obsessed with this whole vintage camper lifestyle thing. We are actually in the process of buying a new travel trailer (ew, new?) and I keep begging Brian to let me get my own tiny vintage camper. I'm not making much leeway. So I will just keep buying the books and magazines and dream. He is so mean!

So if you end up with one and you hit the open road, stop by Springfield, OR. I'll try and be happy for you :-)

In reply to rush. So true! I actually googled the question and found an article on Huffington Post stating that some people in India still use them and there are a few companies still making them (that was as of 2011). Who knew!
