Enjoyed this trip to Christmas decorating past! Your vignettes are always such fun, whimsical inspiration. My fave is the "deer hunter" ready to shoot with his camera.

In reply to Vickie. What is this cutting back you talk of? Actually I may have a lot less decor out this year. It seems like I do one year with a lot of holiday stuff strewn all over the place and then the next year I can still remember how long it took me to put it all away so I just do a light spritzing of the stuff. One year on, one year off.

I just barely found a couple of turkeys & some fake leaves to wrap around a candle (which I never light) . The thought of dragging out all the Christmas stuff and putting it up all over the house is exhausting. Fortunately, most of it is stacked on and around the pool table (that we never use) because I never really put it away last year (or possibly the year before). I will probably just shut the door (we don't use the play room either) & go visit my son who puts up a beautiful, real tree & seems to enjoy the whole process. I'm so glad for him..
