The Ghost Of Christmas Decor Past has come a-callin'.
And when a ghost comes a-callin', you open the door and welcome him inside before he eats your face off. Or is that zombies?
Anywho, as I was sifting through old photos here on my computer, trying to get in the mood for all the upcoming holiday decorating that will be occurring soon, I realized that there's a boat load of Christmas decor I've posted over the years and maybe, just maybe, it can give you some Christmas decor decorating ideas for your own decor this year.
Or you can have a good laugh. Either-or.
Now, if I've done this right, you should be able to click on each photo to go to the post where the photo originally appeared, if you so desire. It's like Christmas magic.
Without it being Christmas yet and without Frosty melting in a greenhouse.
Are you dreaming about holiday decor yet?
Or are you one of those annoying, super-organized people that have it done already?

I think all of it was great! Have a happy Thanksgiving 🙂

I have slowly been getting Christmas out for the last couple of weeks. But I decided I'm going to stop and let you come and finish for me!

Yeah, I'll be right over 🙂

Awesome! The older the better when Christmas decorating! We have a few pieces in common, and I LOVE them!

I just barely found a couple of turkeys & some fake leaves to wrap around a candle (which I never light) . The thought of dragging out all the Christmas stuff and putting it up all over the house is exhausting. Fortunately, most of it is stacked on and around the pool table (that we never use) because I never really put it away last year (or possibly the year before). I will probably just shut the door (we don't use the play room either) & go visit my son who puts up a beautiful, real tree & seems to enjoy the whole process. I'm so glad for him..
Pam
Sounds like you have a plan! You'll get to come home to a clean clutter-free house too 🙂

I love seeing your Christmas vignettes again. I cannot look at your dapper deer without a giggle--I just love him! (And your delightful sense of humor!). Happy Thanksgiving, Pam.

I have that plaid lunch box.I got mine at TJ Maxx. Good idea to make it into a hot chocolate station.
Many great ideas!

which will begin soon.
I am a one holiday at a time gal.

I normally wait until the day after Thanksgiving, although I have made one tiny vignette already (and my husband thinks I'm nuts).

As usual, love your post! And since Christmas is my very very favorite time of year, I especially love this post!
Jan
Love all your ideas, I can't pick a favorite, but I do love the red hat on the dear and Santa on top of the globe!
Lottie
What wonderful posts! I remember some of them, too! Very festive!

Don't you wish you could click on the photo and your room would instantly be transformed?! You've got so many fun ideas in this post, Pam! I'm trying to cut back on decorating, but then I look at the room and it doesn't feel Christmassy to me. I'm never organized this time of year!
Pam
What is this cutting back you talk of? Actually I may have a lot less decor out this year. It seems like I do one year with a lot of holiday stuff strewn all over the place and then the next year I can still remember how long it took me to put it all away so I just do a light spritzing of the stuff. One year on, one year off.

Hi Pam,
I love seeing all your Christmas past. I remember a lot of it. My fave is always the deer head with the hat and camera. Just makes me smile. I think he needs to appear each year all decked out. Have a great Thanksgiving.

Vintage! The only kind I like! Trying to find Christmas decor I grew up with!

Great vintage items and decor, Pam. I am especially admiring (and a wee bit jealous of lol) the plaid camp gear/thermos' and that adorable sled.

So much pretty eye candy, Pam! My favorite? The little glimpse of your tinsel covered tree...
Wishing you a lovely Thanksgiving!
