It seems to me that perhaps the obvious name for Dusty's well endowed sibling should, of course, be "Lusty." The plaid Alladin lunch box brings back memories of a certain 7th grader who was unable to find her locker (#73) for DAYS, so carried ALL her books AND her plaid Alladin lunch box on top of them from class to class. One day, as she was being swept through the packed hallways in the middle of the tide of upperclassmen, her chin on the lunchbox so it wouldn't fall, she spotted #73!! Somehow, she made it to the locker and unloaded. So after that she didn't look like a geek with all that stuff. Don't worry, she compensated in other ways...

Just a quick note...I have fed squirrels for years, AND the males are "very well endowed" The first time I saw one's underside I thought "poor little thing...it has a huge tumor" only to realize through the years it wasn't no tumor at all but something he was very proud of! LOL

We have ALL been there. Trust me, I've totally bought things that I THOUGHT were old and they most definitely weren't. It's tough with the market these days and all those made in China reproduction items that are made to look old...

My husband used Bug spray with Deet in it to clean the lenses of his pickup that were frosty. Wonder if this would work for the front of the radio. Worth a try on a small area. Put it on and rub rub rub.

Oh no, I thought you were going to say someone swiped your beautiful red radio while you were trying to retrieve all your purse items. Glad that didn't happen...probably would have if you'd been at an estate sale! As for the table, I have about 2-3 of those, I plan to put in my next yard sale, but they look just like yours. I think they have plastic handles. Too rickety for me to actually use tho. Bought them from my neighbor when she was moving. Just want them to GO!

My pocketbook always drops at the worst time, like in a ladies room that had no hook on the door and of course its my fault for not zippering it shut like I should. And before I know it, my eye liner is rolling into another stall. But something good came out of your thrifting a nice lunchbox, a cool looking radio and last but not least Dusty's big brother ....pun intended. Your stories are always a treat!
